freedom, fear mongering, national security?

we've heard the warnings before and they were lies
that were meant to hide the truth about the crimes
that were committed by the men with business interests
in the war they don't fight but do profit from
and they still think we are still that dumb
are we?

fighting for freedom

if the police were acting within the law,
then why attack the cameraman
and try to take someone's property?

and interesting paradox

money talks, whales walk

ok, so whales swim... and how many of you sat staring at a whale floating in a tank today?... a minute, two minutes, sitting there staring at a whale flating in a tank... better than an accident down the street?... think about it, would you be staring at a whale floating in a tank if that whale did not kill someone today?... looking for blood on it's teeth?...

is there a three strikes rule for whales?... i mean, this is the third person this whale killed, after all... canada sold the whale to sea world after it killed a trainer up there... somehow a dead guy was found floating on this same whale's back eight years later... wonder how he got there...

and today, guests tell one story about the whale swimming, leaping, grabbing the woman by the waist, shaking her like a rag doll until her shoe flew off, then dragging her under water... sea world spokespeople say she fell into the pool and drowned... the whale says the show must go on...

even when you're swallowed by a twenty foot whale,
go, on with the show
...

show people, go figure...

positivity or contradictory?

so i left this message for the video maker on youtube cuz the point of the video was not clear:
surrender to the God that subtly slips into the words in this video for the briefest moment (that many might miss) or are you surrendering to infinite intelligence that sets you free from the God concept? (let go of God)?

either way, surrendering seems the antithesis of freedom, unless maybe it is surrendering to the unknown.

i genuinely love this video except for the confusing aspect I attempt to convey here. I hope this helps you get your point across with more clarity :)

and i left this message for the poster of the video on facebook cuz facebook allows more characters in a comment:
so are you surrendering to the God that subtly slips into the words in this video for the briefest moment (that many might miss) or are you surrendering to infinite intelligence that sets you free from the God concept (are we to read it as I must let go of God)?...

either way, surrendering to anything seems the antithesis of freedom... there are wonderful positive affirmations subtly flowing through this video, however is may be viewed as faith-based, which is not really freedom of thought (are faith-based believers really permitted to give credibility to the possibility that no God exists, or that God is a delusion, or the Gods are many animals and elements?... what of Roman, Greek, Nordic, Asian, and other Gods, which God does this video refer to?)…

i genuinely love this video except for the confusing and contradictory aspect I attempt to convey here… unfortunately, that one aspect of the video would need to be edited out for me to want to see it again and share it…

I hope this helps you get your point across with more clarity :)

political pop news

FOX QUIZ PURPORTS TO TELL YOU YOUR CANDIDATE

QUERY: Is FOX really playing partisan politics?

PONDER: With shows like The Simpsons, Family Guy, King of the Hill, American Dad, and others mocking everything (or do they really mock everything, or are big fat dumb liberals what they are really laughing at?... would FOX air South Park or Bill Maher?), not to mention other sex and violence filled shows, how could the network be conservative? Perhaps it is just the the news department getting that rap? Is the rap accurate? Well, there is at least one question in this survey that is clearly questionable: Churches should provide welfare services. Sounds good, unless that means the government should give our tax dollars to churches. That would be government support of religion and that's a dangerous road. History 101. So is it a disguised question for which the religious right would like to see a lot of YES answers? Or is it just a poorly worded question that can provide a variable, and therefore statistically irrelevant answer that leads to an inaccurate result? Either way, it blows the quiz for me and anyone into accurate statistical analysis or predicative science.

CONCLUSION: But it's still fun to take quizzes, right? :)
