Wanted to say hi and that I enjoyed your writing - i have been pretty inconsistent in blogging and pretty much a lot in my life...anyway a new resolution before the new year is to stop being inconsistent and pick up things left behind...
Yay for communicating - and yay for you cuz I enjoy your writing too (a comment is an even bigger smile when it comes from someone i admire and i've admired your way with words and your perspective for years :)
I might be able to say I have consistently blogged in at least one blog for more than a decade (and have consistently written something somewhere every days since i learned how to hold a crayon), but most of my hundreds of journals and online blogs (each with a vital purpose reflecting some aspect of me, naturally... oh thank you self-mockery for sort of keeping ego in check) are quite scattered and inconsistently updated... this one, for instance, is a reflection of how well i avoid pop culture and "the news" even as it is dedicated to collecting what is going on outside of my head and storing it for posterity...
the idea of picking up things i left behind?... wow, if i only had the time - what would become of it all (laughing and smiling and awed by the though :)
thanks for waking me up to the world outside of my head... i am very happy you are a part of it :)
ok, so we may have lost track of how many blog tracks are flowing from the brain of the creator, but this is your latest path to wander if you are really into wandering the web and in particular, through this particular mind you are exploring... if you are here randomly, as most probably are, then focus!
like now even...
or not... just be just as blurry as you like and enjoy your wandering, wherever you may end up (as you wish)... just in case you are here because you adore the creator (as if it is a title or something, huh?... oh, nevermind) or are simply curious about the many pathways flowing from the insatiably curious (and seemingly infinite) brain waves of, well, you know (who?), then pull up a chair, share your snacks and thoughts, and enjoy your journey...
this one will be brief thoughts (and, of course, it will include the obligatory egocentric self-mockery) and many videos (or links) to random stuff found in popular culture, probably heavily focused on music, but then, anything goes so who knows (politics, religion, ridiculousness, disasters, exploitation, fear-mongering, sex, guns, rock and roll, even horror, after all, you watch the news, dontcha?)...
what's it like? :)
feel free to feed your ideas or finds for you may, if you are wise and witty and amazing (or maybe just wanna be a friend?), actually find a way to influence the creator (and surely goodness and mercy and fun and the usual sarcasm and self-mockery (and redundancy) are bound to follow all the day and nights and other times cuz it's just like that in my world)...
